Hidden lives of love, labor and apostolic prayer, we profess the three vows of chastity, poverty and obedience as well as a fourth vow of Zeal, specific to the congregation. ZEAl calls us to pray, work and live for the salvation of others, especially those served in the ministries of the active sisters, the RGS.
This calls us to a life of contemplative love—to contemplate the Heart of God and to identify with Jesus the Good Shepherd, whose Heart is profoundly moved by every form of human weakness. It calls us to contemplate our human nature and the needs of the world, and to touch and heal all the effects of sinand destruction.
Our lives, then, center on our Apostolic Prayer, the way we
are profoundly present to the mystery of God, and the needs of all God’s people.
