God be with you always, dear Sisters of the Good Shepherd!
Just learned your site and I don't want to leave without writing something how your prayers to our Almighty God, through the requests made to my sister--Sr. Rosary Lutero, a contemplative sister of your congregation made things possible.
My 1st prayer request way back in December, 1981 was for a child (I had a boy and he was turning 8 then) and in January 27, 1983 God gave me a healthy baby girl! My 2nd prayer request was in 1995 for my son's Licensure Examination in Nursing. Again, through the Contemplative Orders prayers, that too was answered. My son made it! (He is now in Warwick, England). My 3rd, just this November, 2011...though I requested that my land titles be released soon (it has been months and the delay caused by several people had created tension between me and my children and caused sleepless nights to me personally)...it did not happen outright. What I considered as an answer to my prayer was the total relief and peace that engulfed me at that particular moment when everything I thought was already hopeless and my daughter called telling me everything will be all right! Is that not a miracle and an answered prayer?
And that is not alone....with my Sister Rosary and your Congregation prayers, my husband passed away in January 28, 1998 in the state of grace (he was diagnosed with CA in the liver and lived just 7 weeks after the doctor's diagnoses) and my family's total acceptance to God's Will had made the situations light.
Thank you all Sisters for being there for us, your sisters and brothers in Christ. We will continually pray for you and all the priests too!
Sincerely,
Telly, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato

Dearest Sister's, Mother Sucoro & Community prayers,
Best Wishes for Happy New Year to all! Loving memories of the school, My sister and I attended in the mid 60's Baguio, We have some of the most memorable times at the convent learned more than you can imagine, I always wish I could bring back time, We have pictures with the nun's who was very involve in the good shepherds humble work, remembering the garden we cared for and the shack we did our sculptures and more the beautiful convent mahogany wood as I remembered. The pine tree's surrounding this gorgeous landscape, Its been my sincere thanks to the Nun's who spent their most precious time to teach us and we the beneficial are very grateful, There is nothing compares to any of our experience, We have lived in very beautiful places, but nothing compares this holy place that gave me the peace within then and now. We have wonderful beautiful children and our Mother who has been the rock of our Gibraltar, made many sacrifice to give us the good life, Who has reminded us about hope and faith when things went array at times in the past. We are very thankful for all her hard work, all our thought's and prayer to all, Let's pray for the Global Warming, we are experiencing today. May all the Scientists who are involve in making history be more cautious and selective about the products that pollute our Airspace and Environment, so we may live a clean and healthy life for our children of next generations will have a chance to experience what we have been granted. Most of all I (we) pray for the people find Love, harmony and respect amongst one another. Please extend my regards to all the wonderful nuns of the good shepherd convent who have guided us throughout our childhood transformed us through adulthood with grate Adoration human kindness and compassion for all. With all our loving thought's. God Bless this precious place on Good Shepherd Convent and may we continue our journey for peace on Earth.

Dear Everyone,
Glad to have found the Good Shepherd Blog. I graduated from ER 1980. Was in the ER for 4 years. It was a good refuge for me, learned a lot, & I am forever grateful. I played the guitar during mass with Joy or Sr. John Dumaog...pianist either Sr. James or Sr. Rebecca..Sr. Isabel was my last Principal back then. Was in all 3 dorms. Had 3 group mothers. Sr. Becky, Sr. Zita & Sr. John..It was mostly all good memories..Last person that took care of me was Sr. Mary Consuelo Ferrer. I wish I had the chance to see her before she left us. I'm sure she can hear me. Glad to see some photos & of Nanay Mercedes. She looked really good. Hello Everyone!!I will surely try to keep in touch. If I can be on the Centennial next October, since I was never a cook, I can volunteer as your photographer instead ..I am not a professional, but it's a hobby for me. You can check out my work @ http://www.youtube.com/user/LoretaSnapShots
Keep me inform on the dates & maybe I can try to make it next year & hope to see both the old Euphrasians & the Group mothers as well..
Please keep in touch..
Sincerely,
